Year End Wrap Up

Critical Thinking Through Science

Year End Wrap Up

December 30, 2025 Company Updates 0

As we finish up the year at Share Science, we wanted to share some company figures that we are proud of and communicate some exciting goals we have for 2026. Our content contributors continue to generate fantastic science education videos promoting critical thinking for students K-8, pushing views over 60k and doubling our subscriber count YoY! We are so proud to have grown so well while maintaining the quality of content that we’ve honed since Day 1. We love the work we do for our YouTube viewers and look forward to some exciting new content approaches in 2026.

While we have received fantastic feedback on our content aimed at younger students, we have been asked to develop content for Secondary students and beyond. To that end, we are proud to announce a new venture successfully spear-headed by one of our summer interns called “Interview an Expert” that we’re excited to launch in January. This series will focus on university-level research aimed at Secondary students who are interested in broadening their scientific knowledge beyond the classroom. We think this series will help all our viewers see the world through a new lens and engender conversation and critical thinking that’s at the heart of our mission at Share Science.

The travel stipend program we launched earlier this year has had some outstanding interest, both local and far-flung, with applicants hailing from locations as far as Ghana! We believe such grants offer an amazing opportunity for students to further scientific understanding both for themselves and the greater good. We continually assess all applications as they are received, so if you or a student you know might benefit from such a grant, drop us a note at travel@sharescience.org and submit an application today.

Our local outreach has also continued, and we’re excited to introduce a new approach for 2026 that should enable us to reach even more children. We love the ability to hold in-person workshops for students who thrive on a tactile approach and have received requests to share our lessons and guides for those who aren’t able to attend in person. We’re excited to announce a new area of our website called “Share Science Clubhouse,” where we will publish all our workshop materials for reference and in cases where teachers want to add the lessons to their own curriculum.

Finally, we are pleased to announce the new face of Share Science, Curie S. Fox! She takes the same tenacious, curious approach to learning as her namesake, Marie Curie, and is really excited to take the helm of our “Interview an Expert” series in 2026.

Thanks to all our donors in 2025 whose contributions along with our endowment have helped us raise almost $1M to help achieve these goals. We are always looking to add new contributors to our network, so if you have an interest in joining the team or a student to nominate, please let us know at recruiting@sharescience.org, and we always welcome direct donations at http://www.sharescience.org/donate

Wander & Wonder, and Happy Holidays!
